JAKARTA - The East Jakarta Metro Police Rajawali team managed to rescue two victims of being held captive and abused in a house on Jalan Mawar Merah, Pondok Kopi, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta. The victims were identified as Makmur and Ashari. While the perpetrators are unknown persons (OTK).

Wakatim 1 Rajawali Bripka Markon Samuel said that after receiving the report, they went directly to the crime scene (TKP).

"We received reports regarding the alleged isolation and abuse. It turned out that after arriving at the location, we received news that the victim was there," he told reporters, Tuesday, September 21.

For further processing, the two victims were evacuated and have made a police report at the Duren Sawit Police Station.

From the interim examination, there were three people who were reported in this case.

"We took them to the Duren Sawit Police," said Bripka Markon.

Meanwhile, according to victim Ashari's confession to the police, he was initially threatened with being taken to the police station regarding the debt problem.

"He said he wanted to be taken to the police station, but he was taken to the house," he said.

Ashari admitted that he was hit once in the right eye. Ashari and Makmur were held captive since Sunday 19 September.

"The problem of receivables, I also don't know what is my brother's problem, why am I being taken too," he said.

Until now, the Duren Sawit Police Criminal Investigation Unit is still hunting for the perpetrators of the abuse and detention.
