Chairman Of DKI DPRD Ready To Respond To Calls For Investigation Of KPK

JAKARTA - The chairman of the DKI DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, admitted that he would be present at the KPK examination as a witness related to the corruption case in land acquisition in Munjul, East Jakarta.

"I am ready to fulfill the summons, according to the schedule from the letter given to me by the KPK," Prasetyo said when confirmed, Monday, September 20.

Previously, the KPK scheduled an examination of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan and the Chairman of the DPRD DKI Jakarta Prasetyo Edi Marsudi.

Both will be questioned on Tuesday, September 21, at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. Anies and Prasetyo Edi will be examined as witnesses to complete the case file belonging to the former President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Yoory Corneles.

"The Investigative Team has scheduled the summoning of witnesses for Tsk YRC et al, including Anies Baswedan (Governor of DKI Jakarta) and Prasetyo Edi Marsudi (Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD) to be present on Tuesday, September 21 at the KPK's Red and White Building," said Acting KPK Spokesperson. This summons, he continued, is needed to make the actions of the corruption suspects clear and clear. Moreover, currently investigators are continuing to complete Yoory's file and will call a number of witnesses.

"KPK hopes that the witnesses who have been properly summoned by the investigative team will be able to attend according to the time stated in the summons," said Ali.

"The summoning of a person as a witness, of course, is based on the needs of the investigation so that from the statements of the witnesses the actions of the suspects become clearer and clearer," he added.

As previously reported, the KPK has named four suspects, namely the Director and Deputy Director of PT Adonara Propertindo, Tommy Adrian and Anja Runtuwene, former President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya Yoory Corneles, and Director of PT Aldira Berkah Abadi Makmur (ABAM) Rudy Hartono Iskandar.

In addition, the KPK has also named PT Adonara Propertindo as a suspect in corporate corruption.

This allegation of corruption occurred when Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, which is a BUMD in the property sector, sought land in the Jakarta area to be used as a business unit or land bank. Furthermore, this regionally owned company cooperates with PT Adonara Propertindo which is also engaged in the same field.

As a result of this alleged corruption, the state is estimated to have lost up to Rp. 152.5 billion. The suspects allegedly used this money to finance their personal needs.
