Bali Only Allows Natural And Cultural Tourism To Be Opened For Trial

DENPASAR - The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of Bali only gives permission to tourism places that offer natural and cultural beauty to be opened during the trial period for opening tourism destinations on the Island of the Gods.

"In the trial period for opening tourist attractions in Bali for nine regencies, we only allow open tourism such as nature and culture to be opened to welcome tourists who come to Bali," said Head of Bali Tourism Office Putu Astawa in Denpasar, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 15.

In addition to these open tourist attractions, the Bali Provincial Government prohibits closed tourist attractions from being opened during the current trial period.

If closed tourist attractions are opened, he said, it is very risky for health and it is difficult to detect tourists who are exposed to COVID-19. In addition, closed tourist attractions can cause crowds and this is fatal to the spread of the virus at the location of the tourist attraction.

"Basically, we want to prevent crowds, the air circulation is quite good, only one person is exposed, the virus can be transmitted to the air circulation which is not good," he said.

Meanwhile, for the supervision of tightening rules for tourists on health protocols at tourist attractions, his party has prepared a task force to monitor the movement of tourists in tourist attractions. In addition, the PeduliLindung application is also implemented to monitor the health of travelers who enter tourist attractions in Bali.

"If any tourist attractions that are opened are proven to have violated the health procedures regulations during this trial, then we will not hesitate to revoke the certificates and permits for these tourist attractions," said Putu Astawa.
