The Road Is Quiet Because Of The Rain, Two Thieves Take Alfamart Employees' Motorcycles

JAKARTA - Two motorcycle thieves took advantage of the deserted road situation because it was hit by rain. The action was known through CCTV footage installed by Alfamart on Jalan Serdang Raya, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

The two perpetrators came together to Alfamart. Like a buyer who wants to shop, the two perpetrators parked their motorbike right next to the victim's motorbike.

After being declared safe, one of the perpetrators wearing a blue raincoat immediately broke into the ignition of the victim's motorbike. The perpetrator only took 30 seconds to steal the victim's motorbike.

When met, Agus, a colleague of the victim, said that the perpetrators of the theft took advantage of the quiet condition of the shop when it rained.

"Yesterday the incident happened at around 7 am. All of these have been opened, but the shop was deserted because it was drizzling," the mini market cashier told reporters, Wednesday, September 15, noon.

According to Agus, the perpetrators stole freely because of the quiet and rainy conditions. The victim has reported the theft to the Kemayoran Police with CCTV camera footage as evidence.

"I saw on CCTV, the two of them immediately took it and ran away. The Honda beat motorbike. Yesterday I went to the Sector Police, but the police said they had to complete the process so that it could be processed," he said.

Meanwhile, when confirmed separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kemayoran Police, Iptu Putu, confirmed the viral incident. However, his party has not received a report of the incident from the victim of the motorcycle theft.

"There is no report yet. In 1x24 hours, there is no report at the Kemayoran Police," he said when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, September 15.
