Still Curious, DPRD Will Call DKI Provincial Government Asking Reasons For Removing Jakpro President Director

JAKARTA - Head of Commission B of the DKI DPRD, Abdul Aziz, admitted that his party still does not know the reason why DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan removed Dwi Wahyu Daryoto from his position as President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro).

Because, two days before the reshuffle of Jakpro directors and commissioners, Dwi was still attending a meeting with the DKI DPRD.

"I don't know what actually happened. I am also surprised that there was a decision (to reshuffle)," said Aziz at the DKI DPRD building, Central Jakarta, Monday, September 13.

Although the reshuffle of Jakpro's leadership was carried out for refreshment reasons, the DPRD still wants to find out more. Therefore, Aziz said that his party would call the DKI Provincial Government to ask for clarification.

"We'll ask what the reason is, what the considerations are, we need to know. That's what we want to clarify, is it because we didn't reach the target or what," said Aziz.

However, Aziz said that his party had not yet determined the schedule for the meeting. This is because the DPRD is still in recess. "Later, maybe after the recess there may be another meeting with BUMD and SKPD," he continued.

Previously, Anies dismissed Dwi Wahyu Daryoto from the position of President Director of PT Jakpro. Instead, Anies appointed Widi Amanasto as the new Jakpro President Director.

Anies reshuffled the composition of PT Jakpro officials when the BUMD was carrying out a number of major projects, such as the plan to organize Formula E, the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), ITF Sunter, to the Jakarta LRT phase II.
