Ancol Reopens Tomorrow, Visitors Must Be Vaccinated

JAKARTA - Ancol Dreamland Park will reopen its tourist area starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 14.

President Director of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Teuku Sahir Syahali said visitors who would enter the Ancol area must have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Sahir said Ancol used the PeduliLindung application to screen all visitors and employees using the PeduliLindung application QR Code.

"Later on, visitors who will go on recreation to Taman Impian Jaya Ancol must equip themselves with the PeduliLindung application. This application serves as an initial screening process to implement 3T (testing, tracing, treatment)," said Sahir in his statement, Monday, September 13.

In the opening of its tourist area, Ancol operates from 06.00-21.00 WIB. Recreation units that can be enjoyed include: Beaches, Dunia Fantasi, Allianz Ecopark, Art Market, Ocean Dream Samudra, and Gondola. Then, restaurants and Putri Duyung Resort are also operational and can be visited by tourists with a number of health protocols that must be adhered to.

The following are things that visitors must pay attention to when entering the Ancol area: 1. Install the PeduliLindung application and ensure that visitors are in good health before doing recreation.

2. Must have been vaccinated, at least the first dose of vaccine and children under 12 years of age are not allowed to go on recreation.

3. Buy tickets online through ancol.com.

4. Show proof of ticket purchase online to Ancol Gate officers as well as check-in in the PeduliLindung application.

5. Not allowed to swim at the beach and must comply with all regulations in the Ancol tourist area.

6. Implementing health protocols in a disciplined manner during recreation, such as continuing to use masks, maintaining distance, maintaining hand hygiene with hand sanitizer or washing hands with water and soap and not creating crowds.
