BANTEN - The Banten Regional Police have limited the accumulation of tourists heading to Anyer Beach, Cinangka, Carita, and surrounding areas by blocking vehicles going to the beach tourism object in Cilegon, Sunday.
"If it is observed that there has been an accumulation of as much as 25 percent, then officers will divert the flow by blocking and returning vehicles to their respective areas," said Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police AKBP Shinto Silitonga in Serang.
He said that currently Anyer Beach, Carita, and its surroundings are the target of the community to be chosen as tourist attractions on weekend holidays. To prevent crowds that cause the potential for COVID-19 transmission, the Banten Police have implemented restrictions with a maximum capacity of 25 percent.
This is in accordance with the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) according to the Minister of Home Affairs No. 38 of 2021 concerning tourist objects with a maximum capacity of 25 percent to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
