Police Reject ITE Law Report Against MS

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya rejects the report of the ITE Law on defamation of MS. This is reported by the MS legal team in the release.

"We appreciate the Polda Metro Jaya for rejecting the EO and RT reports represented by lawyer Denny Hariatna," said the head of the MS legal team, Mehbob, quoted on Saturday, September 11.

Mehbob said this refusal showed the police were working objectively and professionally. In addition, Mehbob also praised the police, who he considered to uphold the protection of victims.

"The rejection of the Reported Party's report shows that the legal process for sexual harassment and bullying at KPI is on the right track," said Mehbob.

Not only for the MS case, Mehbob also said, "Polda Metro Jaya's rejection of the Reported Party's report can be a breath of fresh air for survivors of abuse to get access to justice."

"The rejection of the Reported Party's report by Polda Metro Jaya is a ray of hope for anyone who wants to seek justice, especially regarding cases of sexual harassment," added Mehbob.

Previously, MS, an employee of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) who was suspected of having experienced sexual harassment and bullying was reported back by several reported parties.
