A Total Of 4 Terrorist Suspects Arrested By Densus 88

JAKARTA - A total of 4 terrorist suspects were arrested by the Densus 88/Anti-terror team. The four were arrested at different locations.

"4 suspects (arrested) today," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan, confirmed on Friday, September 10.

One terrorist suspect who was arrested in the afternoon was T alias AR. He was arrested in a housing complex in the Babelan area, Bekasi.

According to the police, T alias AR was arrested in 2004 for hiding AG alias M, a suspect in the 200 Christmas bombing.

"The involvement (T alias AR) of the Syuro Council of Jamaah Islamiyah during the Amir Parawijayanto," said Kombes Ramadhan.

Previously, the Densus 88 team had arrested the suspected terrorists SH, S and MEK. According to the police, the suspect SH is the Syuro Council of the Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) network.

"Yes, the Shura Council is the advisor. JI advisor," said Kombes Ramadhan.

To find out more about his role other than as an advisor, the suspected terrorist SH is still undergoing intensive examination. There are allegations, SH has a bigger role in the terrorist group.

SH was arrested at his residence in the Grogol Petamburan area, West Jakarta.
