Viral JIS Stadium Field Rental Prices Up To IDR 25 Million, Jakpro: Reference Estimated Prices, Still Finalizing

JAKARTA - Brochures are circulating on social media that explain the rental price for the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) training field at various rates with the most expensive price is IDR 25 million.

In the brochure, the JIS Stadium manager offers three types of training field use sessions. At 08.00-16.00 WIB, the field rental rate is IDR 2.75 million on weekdays and IDR 3.95 million on weekends.

Second, at 16.00-22.00 WIB, the rental price is subject to a tariff of IDR 3.95 million on weekdays and IDR 4.35 million on weekends. Third, private or public event sessions for 12 hours are subject to a tariff of IDR 18.75 million on weekdays and IDR 25.5 million on weekends.

On this matter, PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) BUMD provided clarification. Head of Jakpro Corporate Secretary Division, Nadia Disposanjoyo, said that the JIS field tariff scheme in circulation was uncertain.

"Jakpro confirms that the information is a reference for the estimated rental price and is still in the finalization stage", Nadia said in a statement, Monday, September 6.

Nadia said that the rental rate information is part of the information submitted to third parties for planning the implementation of activities.

"The official rates and bookings will be submitted soon on a special booking portal in collaboration with the leading sports facilities platform providers in the capital", she said.

For information, JIS is targeted to be inaugurated in September 2021. It is stated, JIS will be the largest stadium in Indonesia according to FIFA standards and even become the top 10 grandest stadiums in the world, according to the Daily Mail media version based in London, England.

The technology installed in this stadium includes the lifting of the stadium roof structure with the heaviest weight being lifted simultaneously, the first stadium to use an open-closed roof system, and the first green building stadium with platinum certification.
