Many Work In The Interior, In Kupang New 594 Health Workers Are Injected With The Third Dose Of COVID Vaccine

KUPANG - The Kupang Regency Government, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province recorded that 594 health workers or 38.13 percent had received the three-dose COVID-19 vaccination.

"Based on data from the Kupang District Health Office, 594 health workers have received a three-dose COVID-19 vaccination," said the Head of Protocol and Communications for the Kupang District Secretariat, Martha Para Ede in Kupang, Antara, Sunday, September 5.

He said that 1,667 health workers had received the first dose of vaccination, or 107 percent.

Meanwhile, in the second dose, 1,557 people or 99.94 percent of health workers received the COVID-19 vaccination.

"Especially for the third dose, it has only reached 594 people and the vaccination process for health workers is still being carried out," said Martha Para Ede.

According to him, one of the obstacles is that there are still many health workers who have not vaccinated dose III because many work in remote areas in the districts bordering Oecusse, Timor Leste.

"There are also those who have health problems so they cannot get vaccinated," he said.

He said the government will accelerate efforts to achieve vaccination for health workers so that the vaccination process for the community can be faster.
