ACEH - Aceh Besar Police carried out a post-mortem on a body without a head and arms found in the waters of Nasi Island, Pulo Aceh District.

"We have a post-mortem, today we want to take it to RSUZA (RSU Zainoel Abidin) Banda Aceh," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Aceh Besar Police Iptu Zeska Julian Taruna Wijaya in Aceh Besar, Antara, Sunday, September 5.

Previously, a body without a head and arms was found stranded in the waters of Alu Reuyeung Pulo (Pulau) Nasi, Pulo Aceh District, Aceh Besar District.

The discovery of the corpse began with the presence of a bush 5 GT ship that was found face down in the waters of Pulo Nasi. After being lifted, it turned out that under the ship, a corpse was found without a head and arms.

Iptu Zeska said the post-mortem needed to be done to determine the cause of death and to find his identity.

"We have a post-mortem to determine the cause of death and his identity," he said again.

Based on the observations of the Panglima Laot Aceh Institute, from its shape, the 5 GT ship found was not from Aceh or Indonesia in general, but from another country, allegedly from Thailand or Myanmar.

However, because they did not have an identity, the body was buried by the fishing community at the Pulo Nasi Public Cemetery. However, for a post-mortem, the body must be exhumed and taken to the hospital.
