To Lampung In A Day, Jokowi Review Vaccinations To Inaugurate Way Sekampung Dam

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) left for Lampung Province on Thursday, September 2 to make a working visit.

Quoted from a written statement from the Presidential Secretariat, he and his entourage took off using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta at around 08.00 WIB.

Arriving at Radin Inten II Airport, South Lampung Regency, Jokowi will go directly to the Tanjung Karang Health Polytechnic (Poltekkes) to review the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination for people in Lampung Province.

In addition, he will also review the COVID-19 vaccination activities at SMA Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung City and SMP Negeri 1 Pesawaran, Pesawaran Regency. At both locations, COVID-19 vaccinations were held for educators and students.

Next, President Jokowi is also scheduled to provide guidance to the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) throughout the Lampung Province which will be held at the Mahan Agung Hall, Bandar Lampung City.

Ending his working visit in Lampung Province, President Jokowi will inaugurate the Way Sekampung Dam in Pringsewu Regency. After that, the President and his entourage will go directly to Radin Inten II Airport to return to Jakarta.

During the visit, Jokowi was accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, SOE Minister Erick Thohir, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
