BOGOR - A creative way is carried out by TPS 05 officers in Kebon Kalapa Village, Central Bogor District, to increase voter participation in the 2024 Simultaneous Elections.
Carrying the Halloween theme, this TPS was transformed into a "ghost house" using used goods, thus attracting the attention of residents to attend and vote for them on Wednesday, November 27.
The Acting (Pj) Mayor of Bogor, Hery Antasari, together with the Bogor City Forkopimda and elements of the Pilkada Decree, also reviewed this unique TPS. Hery gave his appreciation for the residents' initiative and noted a high level of participation.
"As of 11.30 WIB, the participation of residents who have exercised their voting rights has reached 85 percent. This shows extraordinary enthusiasm," he said.
Head of RW 05, Ribut Sudarsono, explained that this creative idea was initiated by young people in the region. Although budget constrained, enthusiasm and creativity are the keys to success.
"By utilizing used goods, the costs incurred are not large, but the results are very interesting," said Ribut.
In addition to unique decorations, TPS officers also wore ghost-themed cosplay costumes, adding to the Halloween atmosphere. Ribut hopes that this spirit and creativity can continue to be applied in various events in her area.
TPS 05's creative steps not only increase voter participation, but also serve as an example that budget constraints are not an obstacle to innovation.
