JAKARTA - Officers of the Civil Service Police Unit of Jagakarsa Sub-District are tracing the mural maker who looks like President Joko Widodo. The mural was made with a number of writings on the walls of the Jalan Kebagusan Raya area, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta which has now been deleted by an unknown person.

The head of the Civil Service Police Unit of Jagakarsa Sub-district, Gartap Sihombing, said that his party would coordinate with related parties to further investigate the mural maker who allegedly displayed a face resembling a state leader. Gartap said his party did not know for sure who removed the mural. However, he suspects that this was done by the mural maker himself because of concerns after the painting went viral in cyberspace.

"We also need evidence to say who deleted it, but I suspect it was the culprit because it was busy since last night," Gartap said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 1

Gartap explained that his party had been aware of the painting's existence since Tuesday, August 31 in the afternoon after receiving reports from a number of people who questioned the mural allegedly containing criticism of the government.

Then, said Gartap, at around 22.00 WIB to 23.00 WIB, he received a report that the mural had been camouflaged with white paint to remove the images and writings contained in the mural.

"It was around 10-11 pm when it was disguised with white paint. When we checked the location, we didn't get any information from the residents who did it. So we don't know who did this deletion," he said.

Previously, a mural resembling President Jokowi's face in the Kebagusan Raya area, Jagakarsa, emerged to the public mainly because it contained what was allegedly a criticism of the current government.

There is also an object in the mural depicted a face that is thought to be similar to Jokowi wearing a black shirt with the words "IIT". And is described as smiling and giving a thumbs up.

Then, on the side near the head there is an inscription, "Okay 3 Periods HEHEHE...". While on the lower side near the neck there is the inscription "#IndonesiaWajibOK, isn't it okay...? handcuffs". While on the left side of the object it reads "I am giving up PAKDEH".

Meanwhile, on Jokowi's right side there is an inscription on two wall blocks "MIKIRIN THE PEOPLE UNTIL THE COURSE".
