This Is The Fate Of An Angkot Driver After An Ambulance Intercepts In Cipinang

JAKARTA - Head of the Control and Operational Section of the East Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Riky Erwinda, took firm action against an angkot driver who went viral blocking an ambulance carrying patients on Jalan Bekasi Timur Raya, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta.

"We have taken action against the Mikrolet driver who violated the Transjakarta route and blocked the ambulance. He was given a temporary suspension of operations," he told reporters, Wednesday, September 1.

Even so, Riky was reluctant to explain the reason why the angkot driver acted to grab and block the ambulance while undergoing an inspection at the East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept.

It is said Riky, the results of the examination during the action, the angkot driver does not have a driving license (SIM). He is 30 years old.

"We have secured the angkot vehicle in Pulogadung. We will not operate it until September 10," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a viral video showed an M32 angkot on the Kampung Melayu-Klender route with plate B 1742 VT snagging the Transjakarta lane through which ambulances were passing.

In a 30-second video circulating on social media, the angkot driver also stopped to drop off passengers.

At that time the ambulance took the patient from the Cipinang area to the Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), Central Jakarta. In the video narration, it is stated that the incident occurred on Wednesday 1 September, early in the morning.
