BANYUWANGI - The Kalibaru Police Team, Banyuwangi, East Java arrested a man suspected of being a drug dealer. Thousands of Trihexyphenidyl drugs have been secured from the hands of the alleged perpetrators.

The man who was arrested with the initials OP alias AS (37) lives in Kalibaru Wetan Village, Kalibaru District, Banyuwangi Regency.

Kalibaru Police Chief AKP Abdul Jabar said the arrest of the alleged perpetrator was based on public reporting of the distribution of dangerous drugs. The police then carried out an investigation and arrested the perpetrators, Tuesday, August 31.

"From the information from the residents, we developed it and carried out an investigation. During the search, it turned out that it was true that the suspect had thousands of dangerous drugs. The police then secured the OP," he said, Wednesday, September 1.

From the results of the search, a number of evidences were found, including 2,700 pharmaceutical drugs of the Trihexyphenidyl type. With details of two plastics each containing 800 pills. One plastic contains 160 clips each containing 5 pills.
