JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria asked DKI Bank as a regional bank to help micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) improve their business.

"With the involvement of Bank DKI through e-Order, hopefully Jakarta can quickly recover from COVID-19 in all fields, including the economy," said Riza at the DKI City Hall, Tuesday, June 30.
Initially, the e-order platform was a digital marketplace (marketplace) owned by the DKI Provincial Government, connecting MSME players assisted by the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises and Trade Cooperatives (KUKMP), Perumda Pasar Jaya, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) and PD Dharma Jaya with the DKI Provincial Government.
This buying and selling application payment system is managed by Bank DKI. Where payments from consumers will be disbursed to MSMEs within a maximum of three days.
Meanwhile, Bank DKI Corporate Secretary Herry Djufraini said that his party noted that 50 percent of the total MSME debtors affected by COVID-19 had applied for credit relief to banks.
Herry is worried that the COVID-19 pandemic will disrupt the ability to pay debtors, which will result in an increase in non-performing loans. Therefore, Pemprov's spending is considered to be a great opportunity for these SMEs.
However, the relaxation that has been imposed by the financial services authority (OJK) will greatly assist banks so that the increase in non-performing loans can be further suppressed.
"That's why Bank DKI developed a special platform for SMEs called e-orders, in order to facilitate around 50 percent of SMEs proposing relaxation that are not connected to digital," said Herry.
