President Checks Student Nationality Collaborative Vaccination In Bogor

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo reviewed the National Collaborative Vaccination activity for students which was held at Cappelen Park, Bogor Botanical Gardens, West Java.

The Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat in a written statement quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 28, informed that this vaccination activity was intended for students aged 12 to 18 years and targeted around 1,250 participants divided into several sessions.

Similar vaccination activities were also carried out simultaneously in a number of other areas with a total of 16,279 participants, with details in West Java targeting 14,429 students and in Banten 1,850 students.

President Jokowi also had the opportunity to chat with several representatives in West Java and Banten via video conference. The vaccination locations that the President greeted include the City of Cirebon, the City of Tasikmalaya, the City of Cilegon, and the Regency of Garut.

In the dialogue, Jokowi asked about the total vaccination participants and the adequacy of the vaccine stock available in each of these areas. The Head of State also requested that vaccination activities continue to be carried out so that communal immunity in the community can be achieved as soon as possible.

"Good, keep chasing. It will be resolved immediately so that communal immunity can be achieved immediately and if there is a shortage of vaccines, immediately convey it to the governor or directly to the minister, so that everything can be completed quickly, the vaccination is completed quickly," said Jokowi.

In addition, Jokowi also asked about the availability of centralized isolation facilities (isoter) and the bed occupancy rate (BOR) in these areas.

Also attending the event was the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Arsjad Rasjid, Commander III/Siliwangi TNI Major General Agus Subiyanto, West Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Ahmad Dofiri, and Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto.
