BOGOR - Presidential Special Staff for Social Affairs Angkie Yudistia reviewed the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination for people with disabilities in Bogor City.

Angkie said as many as 60,000 doses of the total 450,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine grant from the King of the United Arab Emirates to Indonesia were provided for people with disabilities.

According to him, as many as 1,300 doses of the 60,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine allocated for people with disabilities were used to vaccinate people with disabilities in Bogor City.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Bogor said that in his area there were around 600 people with disabilities who were targeted for COVID-19 vaccination.

"Today there were about 400 people with disabilities who attended. Previously there were around 100 people with disabilities who were injected with the vaccine," he said.

"The mobilization of persons with disabilities comes to the vaccine injection site assisted by the Special School (SLB), and we provide vehicles for transportation," continued Bima Arya.

According to data from the Bogor City Health Office, as of Thursday, about 55 percent of the 819,444 targeted vaccinations had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
