Police Seize 4 Luxury Cars Doctors In Medan Using Fake Russian Consulate Plates

MEDAN - A doctor with the initials MF was secured by a joint team of Satreskrim and Satlantas Polrestabes Medan. This doctor was arrested for allegedly using a car with a fake motorized vehicle number (TNBK) sign at the Russian Consulate.

Implementing the task (Plt) of Kasat Reskrim Polrestabes Medan, Kompol Raflesia said his party was still continuing to investigate MF.

"One person with the initials MF is currently still in the process of being investigated," said Kompol Rafles, Thursday, August 26.

In this disclosure, officers confiscated 4 units of cars of various brands with TNBK CC (Corps Consulate) belonging to the Russian Consulate

"Initially we found a Hyundai car that used a fake number plate parked at a hospital in Medan. After we checked it turned out to be MF's. Then we expanded it to the residence and found three other cars," he said.

From the results of the examination conducted by police officers, the license plates of the four cars were not registered.

"After checking, there is no Consulate Corps (CC) from Russia in Indonesia. So the representative in Indonesia is in Jakarta and that is the embassy. So the plate should be a CD, not a CC," he said.

Kompol Rafles said that no suspect has been named in this case because the police are still investigating.

"No suspects have been identified yet. The handling process is still under investigation," he said.
