SURABAYA - The Surabaya Besar Resort Police (Polrestabes) have thwarted the circulation of 13 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine suspected to have come from China. The police arrested three of his gang of dealers.

Kombes Yusep said the disclosure process was carried out after the police analyzed the conversion of digital traces, and the first suspect was arrested on July 21 at the Jalan Pakis boarding house in Surabaya.

"The female suspect, apart from being a courier, is also a dealer. In total, Siti Rachmawati circulated 2.6 kg of methamphetamine," he said.

From the development of the case, the police arrested Krisna Andika, who is also a dealer and dealer, and confiscated 10 plastic bags of shabu-shabu of 650.8 grams.

"The third suspect, Sugeng Prayitno, who was a courier 7 times from the Sumatra network, was arrested on the toll road while carrying a drug package from Jakarta to Surabaya," he said.

Meanwhile, the 13 kg of crystal methamphetamine seized from each suspect totaled Rp. 13.5 billion.

"If it is converted to narcotics abuse, the Surabaya Police have saved 150 thousand people," he said.

Yusep said he would continue to develop the investigation of the methamphetamine case, which is suspected to lead to a larger network, namely on the island of Madura.

The suspect was charged with Article 112 Paragraph 2 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
