Accompanied By Prabowo, Jokowi Reviews Vaccinations And Inaugurates Toll Road In East Kalimantan

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo left for East Kalimantan this morning, Tuesday, August 24. Jokowi's first agenda in East Kalimantan is to review the implementation of vaccinations for students of SMP Negeri 22 Samarinda (Junior HIgh School). During his review, Jokowi was accompanied by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto.

Judging from the Presidential Secretariat's Youtube broadcast, Jokowi was seen wearing a white shirt and black pants. Meanwhile, Prabowo wore a brown safari outfit. They toured the vaccination process with the Governor of East Kalimantan, Isran Noor.

Jokowi is also scheduled to greet vaccination participants in several other places through video conferences.

After this, Jokowi will head to the East Kalimantan Governor's Office to provide guidance to the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) throughout East Kalimantan Province.

In the afternoon, the former Governor of DKI Jakarta will go to Balikpapan City via the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road.

Arriving at the Manggar Toll Gate, Balikpapan City, the President will inaugurate the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road for the Balikpapan-Samboja section.

In the afternoon, Jokowi will head to the Balikpapan Sport and Convention Center (BSCC) Dome to review the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination for the community.

After that, Jokowi will go to Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport, Balikpapan City, and then take off back to Jakarta.

Besides Prabowo, on today's agenda, Jokowi was also accompanied by the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
