Viral Banjarnegara Regent Calls Menko Luhut 'Minister Of Tailoring,' Ferdinand Is Angry: This Harasses Clan

JAKARTA - Banjarnegara Regent's statement, Budhi Sarwono, has gone viral on social media. Regent Budhi dragged the name of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan when explaining the implementation of Emergency PPKM which can reduce the rate of COVID-19.

The Regent Budhi's statement was widely criticized by netizens for offending Luhut's clan. One of them came from a former Democrat politician, Ferdinand Hutahaean.

"This Banjarnegara regent has NO ETHICS at all. He has no respect for a minister who is assigned by the president," Ferdinand said via his personal Twitter, @FerdinandHaean3 while retweeting the video of the regent's statement, Monday, August 23.

"Not only that, but this regent harasses the PANJAITAN (BATAK) clan calling the clan the word PENJAIT (Tailor). Insolent ..!"

The contents of Regent Budhi's statement through the viral video stated that PPKM succeeded in suppressing the number of COVID-19 in Banjarnegara.

"Alhamdulillah Banjarnegara used to be 99 percent BOR, the Emergency PPKM came down. I read the rules according to the President's suggestion which was immediately followed up by the Minister of Home Affairs. And a meeting was held with which minister, the tailor. Who was the Batak,?" said Regent Budhi.

The media crew who were at the location then answered. "Mr. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan."

"Yes, the tailor is the point," replied the Regent Budhi. Regent Budhi then explained again the achievements during the implementation of PPKM.

"Emergency PPKM has been implemented until now PPKM Level 3 and Level 4, it turns out that the distribution of social safety nets is very effective and efficient," he said.

The Regent Budhi mentioned the minister of tailoring several times in his subsequent explanation.

"When the Emergency PPKM was 99 percent (the BOR), the red zone was almost mixed with black. After the instructions from the Minister of Home Affairs and according to the advice of the President and everything was explained by the Tailor Minister, Ruhut the Tailor, I carried out the instructions," said Regent Budhi.
