Cianjur Regency Government Destroys Thousands Of Bottles Of Alcohol And Illegal Drugs

CIANJUR - The Cianjur Regency Government, West Java, together with Forkopimda destroyed thousands of bottles of alcohol of various brands, hundreds of bags of mixed alcohol, and thousands of pills of list G banned drugs. These prohibited items were the result of the Cianjur Satpol PP operation.

Deputy Regent of Cianjur, TB Mulyana Syahrudin said that throughout 2021, the Cianjur Satpol PP together with the Cianjur Police, secured 2,531 bottles of alcohol of various brands, 425 bags of adulterated liquor and 3,600 pills of List G banned drugs from various regions in Cianjur.

"Joint operations and raids were carried out by the Satpol PP, Polres and Kodim Cianjur, as an effort to eradicate the circulation of alcohol and illegal drugs in Cianjur. We hope that in the future, there will be no more trafficking of alcohol, drugs and drugs," he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, August 20.

TB Mulyana said that routine raids and operations will continue to be held, as an effort to make Cianjur free from alcohol, illegal drugs and drugs.

In fact, his party appealed to residents to report to the authorities and Satpol PP, if they found the circulation of alcohol, illegal drugs and drugs in their neighborhood.

"This is a joint task for all members of the community. There should be no omission, when there are alcohol sellers, drug dealers and drug dealers roaming freely. Let's fight the circulation together, so as not to damage the nation's generation," he said.

Meanwhile, the head of the Cianjur Satpol PP, Hendri Prasetyadi, said that he would continue to provide a deterrent effect on alcohol sellers, so they would no longer sell. In fact, his party will continue to intensify raids and operations on alcohol, which are often sold in depots under the guise of herbal medicine stalls and roadside grocery stalls in the north and east of Cianjur.

"We will seal stalls or depots that are still selling alcohol and illegal drugs. As a form of deterrent effect for sellers who remain stubborn. We also hope that residents report immediately if they find liquor, illegal drugs and drugs trafficking," he said.
