Proposed Interpellation To Anies, PDIP: Formula E Loss Rp106 Billion

JAKARTA - Deputy Chair of the PDIP Faction of the DKI DPRD Ima Mahdiah explained the reason why he proposed the right of interpellation to the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan regarding Formula E.

Ima said that there would be a loss in the regional budget if Formula E was held. This is known from the findings of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) based on a feasibility study on the implementation of Formula E made by the BUMD PT Jakpro.

"Based on BPK's calculations, there is a potential loss of Rp. 106 billion from the implementation of Formula E," said Ima when contacted on Wednesday, August 18.

Even in the feasibility study or feasibility study that was made, it only included expenditures from Jakpro's regional capital investment (PMD). The feasibility study does not include the commitment fee component as an expense.

Ima said, in the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, it is better for the DKI Provincial Government to focus on dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic instead of forcing the implementation of Formula E.

"The condition is still a pandemic, it is better to use it for people affected by COVID-19. Moreover, the implementation of Formula E in June 2022, in my opinion, is still in the recovery period for COVID-19," he said.

Until now, Ima said that there were already seven members of his faction who agreed to submit an interpellation right proposal to Anies. The former staff of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) said that the approval of the seven members of the PDIP faction was contained in the signing of the proponent for the right of interpellation which would be submitted to the chairman of the DPRD.

"Until this afternoon there have been 7 people who have signed autographs. The possibility will increase because there are appointments tonight to sign," said Ima.
