Arrested Again, Police Have Secured Two Ojol Driver Hijackers In Johar Baru

JAKARTA - The Johar Baru Sector Police have again arrested a young man with the initials AA (25) who is suspected of being involved in the death of Indramayu (51) a resident of Johar Baru, Central Jakarta while trying to break up a brawl between residents.

"Yes, we have secured one person with the initials AA," said Johar Baru Police Chief Kompol Edison when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, August 18.

Edison said that from the perpetrator's confession, AA was involved in the attack on Indramayu (51). Apart from AA, the other perpetrators have also been arrested by the Polda Metro Jaya.

"The police also have information that they have arrested other perpetrators with the initials S who were involved in the brawl," he said.

The perpetrator with the initials S was arrested on Wednesday, August 18, in the early hours of the morning by joint officers from the Johar Baru Police and the Metro Jaya Police. When questioned by officers, S admitted that he was one of the perpetrators of the brawl who also persecrated the victim.

"Already (arrested), the suspect in custody has the initials S. He is the main perpetrator," added the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Johar Baru Police, AKP Suprayogo when contacted, Wednesday, August 18.

With S's arrest, a total of two perpetrators have been arrested. Until now, the police are still conducting investigations on S and AA to explore the case of this deadly brawl.

"Meanwhile, from the results of the examination, the perpetrators are not involved in indications of a drug syndicate. The motive is purely a brawl. His name is that the children across the street used to mock each other, so they gave out firecrackers and then a brawl broke out," he said.

As previously reported, a brawl between residents of Baladewa and Tanah Tinggi that occurred at the intersection of Paris City, Johar Baru, killed one resident of RT 02/06, Kampung Rawa Village. The victim's name is Indramayu (51). He exhaled after getting a number of sharp weapon slashes on his body.
