JAKARTA - A total of five terrorism suspects have been detained by the Densus 88 team at the National Police Headquarters, in different locations in the Banten area on Friday, August 13 and Saturday, August 14.

He said the arrest of the person suspected of being involved with the terrorist act was carried out by the Densus 88 Team at the National Police Headquarters at different locations in the Banten Province.

"The five suspected terrorists are currently still under investigation by the Anti-Terror Detachment 88 investigators," said Shinto. Previously, Cilegon Police Chief AKBP Sigit Haryono said on Friday, August 13, that the Densus 88 team had arrested residents from Gunung Asem Village, Lebak Denok, Cilegon Cilegon District. , AF. The Densus 88 team then searched the perpetrator's rented house in Tangsi Village, Labuan Village, Mancak District, Serang Regency on Saturday 11 August 2021 at around 11.00 WIB.

According to Sigit, the Cilegon Police also dispatched 45 personnel to assist in the search process. Furthermore, said Sigit, said that the handling of the case was carried out by the National Police Headquarters.
