JAKARTA - The Ministry of Social Affairs hopes that the public can help represent reports of citizens who are technologically savvy (short of technology) related to the problem of receiving social assistance (bansos).

"It can be represented by anyone. Right now, we have moved in a digital world, all people, elements, now we continue to convey that there should be no discount to the community," said Special Staff to the Minister of Social Affairs Luhur Budiarso to reporters as reported by Antara, Wednesday, 11 August.

Luhur emphasized that there should be no misappropriation of social assistance (Bansos) Cash Social Assistance (BST), PKH (Family Hope Program) and BPNT (Non-Cash Food Aid) as well as social assistance in the form of poor quality rice.

Luhur said beneficiaries can directly check the distribution of BST, PKH, and BPNT social assistance through Cekbansos.kemensos.go.id.

In addition, said Luhur, complaints related to the rice social assistance are not seen from the area, but first seen from the public complaints

"And the information should be wider. We hope the public will also participate in monitoring and immediately look at Cekbansos.kemensos.go.id," he said. Luhur stated that his party would immediately follow up, if there were reports of misuse of social assistance or poor quality rice.

In fact, on August 17 next, Luhur said Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini will launch a new application to make suggestions and objections to social assistance recipients, which can be accessed by the public.

"So the goal is that those who are clueless or don't have access to cellphones or websites, can be helped by other people," he said.
