List Of COVID Vaccines Lures Crowds, Walkot Fairid Naparin Complained To The Ombudsman Of Central Kalimantan Alleging Maladministration

PALANGKA RAYA - One of the legal aid institutions in Palangka Raya reported the Mayor (Walkot) Fairid Naparin and the Chief of Police to the Central Kalimantan Ombudsman about the alleged maladministration.

This report departs from the registration of the COVID-19 vaccine on August 4, 2021 which caused a crowd.

The Mayor of Palangka Raya, Fairid Naparin, was immediately questioned by the Central Kalimantan Ombudsman. Fairid admitted that he had clarified the report on the alleged maladministration.

"Today, I will clarify. The process is ongoing and I make sure the Ombudsman works professionally. I respect every process with open arms," Fairid said in Palangka Raya as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, August 10.

Fairid said that during the clarification process he conveyed the data and facts transparently and truthfully. He claimed to respect the parties involved in the report because everything is guaranteed by law.

"Today is just a clarification. How then we just follow the process. I am ready with open arms if there are other things that must be said later," said Fairid.

He fully submitted the results of the Central Kalimantan Ombudsman's examination regarding the reporting of alleged maladministration of the COVID-19 vaccine registration queue process.

The Head of the RI Ombudsman Representative for Central Kalimantan, Raden Biroum Bernardianto, said that currently his party is still focusing on the clarification stage.

"Including the mayor and the head of the Palangka Raya Police, who in this case were reported. Before conducting the study, we must clarify to the parties related to the construction of the incident and what was reported," he said.

However, he said that he could not convey the points of clarification due to ethical problems. Except later after the final conclusions and recommendations are obtained. All relevant parties, including the public, can receive this information.

"For this report, it is in the medium category. A maximum of 60 days must be completed, but this will be our priority so that it is completed as quickly as possible and we will convey the results and recommendations," said Biroum.
