JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the House of Representatives, Arteria Dahlan, is concerned about the action of the artist Dinar Candy in a bikini on the street as a reaction to the extension of the PPKM.

"It's sad and disappointed, the public figures concerned should be more careful in their attitude and actions," said Arteria, Thursday, August 5, evening.

The PDIP politician reminded that Indonesia is a very democratic country, where freedom of expression and opinion is guaranteed by the constitution. Arteria said, not only adab and ethics but also regulated by law. "There are many other ways to express yourself and express opinions, including for reasons of criticism or stress, the problem now is, do you have to wear a bikini in the middle of the road? you mean umbar genitalia on the side of the road," said the East Java legislator.

"How is your moral responsibility to the public, especially minors," he continued.

According to Arteria, Dinar Candy's action was not a criticism or just showing a bad example to people, especially minors. But there is another motive.

"I tried to follow his statement, he said he was stressed, just prove it, don't take him to the police station, first take him to a psychiatrist or psychologist. If it is proven, don't be detained in the police, just take him to a social institution for social or psychosocial rehabilitation. I hope it doesn't take one day for the person concerned to be considered cured and not stressed anymore," he explained.

"Well, if it is not proven that there is a mental disorder, I ask that the person involved needs to be given sanctions. Use layered articles, starting from the Pornography Law, ITE Law and obscene or immoral acts as regulated in the Criminal Code," he continued.

Arteria hopes that this case will serve as a lesson for the future so that this sensational act will no longer exist.

"The energy of the nation's children should focus on being united in dealing with COVID-19, not being distorted for sensational actions and very inappropriate at times like this," he said.

The South Jakarta Metro Police conducted a urine test on the artist Dinar Candy. The test was carried out after Dinar was arrested by the police as the aftermath of the bikini action on the street. The Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol. Yusri Yunus, confirmed that the results of Dinar Candy's urine test were negative for drugs. This was conveyed during a press conference at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, August 5.

Dinar Candy, whose real name is Dinar Miswari, was arrested by the police at a friend's house in the Fatmawati area on Wednesday, August 4, at 21.30 WIB. He is suspected of violating the UU ITE and Pornography. This Sundanese-blooded woman admitted that she was stressed because of the policy of limiting her activities.
