Denny Indrayana Loses, DPRD Announces Appointment Of Uncle Birin Governor Of South Kalimantan

BANJARMASIN - The Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of South Kalimantan announced the determination of the pair of Governor and Deputy Governor of South Kalimantan, H Sahbirin Noor - and H Muhidin or "BirinMu" from the 2020 Regional Head Election.

"With the presence of a definitive governor and deputy governor, we hope that South Kalimantan's development will run more smoothly," said the chairman of the South Kalimantan DPRD, Dr (HC) H Supian HK, in Banjarmasin, quoted by Antara, Thursday, August 5.

He admitted, during the leadership of Acting Governor Dr Safrizal ZA who is also the Director General (Dirjen) of the Regional Administration of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) of the Republic of Indonesia, development in South Kalimantan also went smoothly.

The announcement of the appointment of the BirinMu pair as Governor and Deputy Governor of the local province was delivered at the plenary meeting of the South Kalimantan DPRD.

The South Kalimantan DPRD through its chairman hopes that there will soon be a Decree (SK) on the appointment of the BirinMu pair so that it won't take too long for there to be a definitive governor and deputy governor.

Meanwhile, the Acting Governor of South Kalimantan in his speech stated that he would continue the determination of the BirinMu pair to the President through the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) of the Republic of Indonesia to obtain an appointment decree.

"God willing, not too long ago, South Kalimantan will have a definitive governor and vice governor again," said Safrizal.

The elected Governor of South Kalimantan H Sahbirin Noor or familiarly as Uncle Birin, accompanied by his Deputy H Muhidin, in his speech stated that he invited all parties to work together to build the beloved Banua of South Kalimantan.

The Regional General Election Commission (KPUD) in a plenary meeting at the Golden Tulip Hotel Banjarmasin, Wednesday, August 4, determined the BirinMu pair as the winner of the 2020 Pilkada.

In the 2020 South Kalimantan Pilkada there are two pairs of candidates for governor/wagub, each pair BirinMu and H Denny Indrayana-H Defri Derajat abbreviated as H2D.
