Bandung Culinary Business Figures Experience Neck-Stomach Puncture Wounds, Hospital: Suicide Attempted Wounds

BANDUNG - Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung stated that the victim of an attempted suicide in front of Bandung City Hall with the initials GB (39) suffered stab wounds to the neck and stomach.

The RSHS Medical Services Coordinator, Dr. Zulvayanti, said the patient came to the RSHS ER at 13:54 WIB with a diagnosis of a stab wound. After that the patient immediately underwent close observation by RSHS medical officers.

"Currently, the patient's condition is generally conscious, stable, without using oxygen," said Zulvayanti in Bandung, West Java, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, August 4.

According to him, the bleeding from the stab wound has been handled by RSHS medical officers. However, from the diagnosis, the wound suffered by the victim was indeed an attempted suicide wound.

"The bleeding outside has been handled with pressure bandages, the patient has an IV infusion, and has been given anti-pain medication," said Zulvayanti.

The victim, who had the initials GB, was found lying in front of the Bandung City Hall at around 13.00 WIB. GB himself is known to be a figure from one of the culinary sector business associations in Bandung.

From the preliminary results of the crime scene, the police also found a knife allegedly used by GB to carry out the suicide attempt.

In addition, the police also found clues that previously GB had called his colleague at the Bandung City Government to inform him of his whereabouts in front of the Bandung City Hall.
