PALEMBANG - The Palembang City Government, South Sumatra Province (Sumsel) has extended the status of Level 4 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) until August 9, 2021.

“Currently the city government is continuing PPKM Level 4 for the third phase until August 9. We ask all parties to comply with health protocols," said Palembang Mayor Harnojoyo in Palembang, Antara, Tuesday, August 3.

He explained that the extension of PPKM Level 4 refers to the instructions of the central government, for regions and 9 districts where the spread of COVID-19 is still high.
