JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran asked all Jakartans not to be selfish and continue to apply health protocols (prokes). Obeying the procedures must still be carried out even though the spread of COVID-19 in Jakarta has begun to decline.

"This is what we must continue to remind ourselves of selfish traits that are selfish, I think we should throw them away," Fadil said when he told reporters at the Metro Jaya Police, Sunday, August 1.

If only concerned with ego, Inspector General Fadil reminded the impact that had happened. The availability of treatment rooms at the referral hospital will be fully filled.

Therefore, people must be patient a little longer in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because, the 'war' with COVID-19 is not over.

"Don't forget that we were in the ICU yesterday, many did not get help quickly. Yesterday the emergency room was full, we quickly forgot this. As the governor said, the war is not over yet," he said.

In addition, Inspector General Fadil also appealed to the people of Jakarta to follow the vaccination program that has been provided. Thus, the establishment of herd immunity in the capital city will soon be achieved and will have a good impact on the economy.

"Please make good use of this independent vaccination booth which is close to their respective homes. I hope that yesterday's Jakarta, which I said is not doing well, with this activity, hopefully, Jakarta will be more enthusiastic," said Inspector General Fadil.
