JAKARTA - Before you start today's activity, it's a good idea to listen to the weather forecast from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), which is valid for today, August 1. A number of areas in Indonesia are forecasted for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds.

Areas that will rain include the Sumatra Region which includes the Special Region of Aceh, West Sumatra, and South Sumatra. Meanwhile, on the island of Java, Banten and East Java will also rain.

On the island of Borneo, it is possible that it will rain in East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan. On the island of Sulawesi will occur in North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi. The Papua region is also forecasted to rain.

Most of the weather in Jakarta on Sunday morning is expected to be cloudy, with the exception of South Jakarta and East Jakarta, which are predicted to be cloudy. Meanwhile, in South and East Jakarta, light rain is expected from noon to night. West Jakarta and Central Jakarta are also expected to have light rain at night, while the Thousand Islands and Central Jakarta are expected to be cloudy.

In the early hours of the morning, most areas in DKI are expected to be cloudy, except in Central Jakarta, which is expected to be cloudy, and the Thousand Islands, where light rain is expected.

Meanwhile, the air temperature in the DKI Jakarta area is estimated to be in the range of a minimum of 24 degrees to a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius with humidity levels in the range of 60 to 90 degrees Celsius.
