DENPASAR - Bali Police Chief Inspector General Putu Jayan Danu Putra handed a certificate of appreciation and a gold pin from the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to Bali Governor I Wayan Koster, in Denpasar, Bali.

Inspector General Putu said the award was given by the National Police Chief to the governor of Bali for having excelled as the best micro PPKM implementer in the province and district and city that has the most effective strategy and role in the governance of COVID-19 control and the implementation of Micro PPKM in the Bali region.

"The award was signed by the National Police Chief with Number Kep/1088/VI/2021 dated June 29, 2021, regarding the best Micro PPKM in provinces and districts (or) cities that have an effective strategy and role in the governance of COVID-19 control and the implementation of Micro PPKM in their regions," " said Inspector General Putu, Friday, July 30.

He also hopes that the award will be a motivation for the Bali Province COVID-19 Task Force and regencies or cities to work more optimally in breaking the chain of spreading COVID-19 and ending this pandemic.

"Hopefully this award will motivate all of us to be more enthusiastic, including community participation in breaking the chain of the spread of COVID-19, through stricter implementation of health protocols," said Inspector General Putu.
