Gowa Police Chief, AKBP Reonald Simanjuntak, said that one of the three DPOs with the initials ASS, known as a politician and businessman, is suspected of being a key witness in this case. In addition, another key witness, with the initials M, has died of a heart attack.
"We have sent a letter to the Immigration Office to prevent the perpetrators of this DPO from escaping abroad," said Reonald on Monday, December 23.
Reonald emphasized that the statements from the three DPOs were very important to reveal the extent of the involvement of other suspects in the network of counterfeit money syndicates at the Alauddin UIN Campus.
"The statements of these three people will clearly reveal the involvement of the suspects in this counterfeit money case," he added.
