Regional House of Representatives Affirms Influencer Claims Initials T Participate In The Third Dose Of Vaccination Hoax

JAKARTA - Plt. Secretary of the Council of the DKI Regional House of Representatives, Augustinus, emphasized that the influencer with the initial T who claimed to have received the third dose of vaccine (booster) at the DKI Regional House of Representatives building was a lie or a hoax.

This was revealed after the Regional House of Representatives Secretariat searched data on vaccination recipients to check CCTV at the Regional House of Representatives Building located on Kebon Sirih Street.

"Yes, this is a hoax. It means that the person concerned did not perform a third booster or vaccination at the Regional House of Representatives", Augustinus said when met at the Regional House of Representatives building, Central Jakarta, Thursday, July 29.

Augustine explained the search carried out. Influencer T posted a photo of himself receiving a vaccination with the caption "booster" on his Instagram account.

At first, the Regional House of Representatives contacted the influencer to ask for clarification by telephone. However, there was no response. "We tried to contact the person concerned but he didn't pick up. We want to know what the chronology is to be able to post something like that", he said.

The Regional House of Representatives also conducted its own investigation. After a search, the influencer did participate in the vaccination, but only the first dose was vaccinated on June 3 and the second vaccination was on July 1.

"So we have the relevant data because he carried out the vaccine here. According to our data, there is no vaccine on the 27th," he said.

Even though he knew that the Regional House of Representatives was attacked by hoax rumors, Augustinus admitted that his party did not want to report this case to the police. This is based on the consideration of the Chairman of the DKI Regional House of Representatives, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi.

"Yes, there is no (reporting). We don't want to go that far. Because our job is only a service function. Don't disturb others. Earlier, the chairman said to stay focused (vaccination)", explained Augustinus.
