Alert, BMKG Warns Potential For Strong Winds In Some Areas Of Indonesia, While Jakarta Is Bright

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued an early warning regarding the weather, the potential for moderate to heavy rain, strong winds, and forest or land fires on Sunday, July 25.

The potential for strong winds is predicted in West Sulawesi, so people are asked to be vigilant, especially in the coastal areas of Polewali Mandar and Majene Regencies in the morning and early morning.

Likewise in Central Sulawesi, which will have the potential to rain with moderate to heavy intensity accompanied by lightning or lightning and strong winds in the afternoon and early morning in the districts or cities of Palu, Donggala, Sigi, Parimo, Poso, Touna, Tolitoli, Buol, Morowali, North Morowali, Banggai, Banggai Laut, and Banggai Islands.

Meanwhile, in West Kalimantan, the community is asked to be aware of the increase in air temperature and decrease in air humidity which can trigger the potential for forest/land fires too easily. Likewise in the East Nusa Tenggara area, it is hoped that they will be aware of the potential for land fires.

Sunny Jakarta

Meanwhile, for the Jakarta area, BMKG predicts that DKI Jakarta will not rain throughout this Sunday, July 25, it will be sunny.

According to BMKG data, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta and East Jakarta will be sunny in the morning. While other areas experience sunny cloudy until noon. During the day, cloudy skies only occur in South Jakarta and East Jakarta. Meanwhile, other areas are sunny until the evening.

At night, the weather turns to sunny and cloudy evenly throughout the DKI Jakarta area which will last until the early hours of Monday, July 26.
