JAKARTA - The police detailed the losses that occurred as a result of a brawl at the Manggis Market, Setiabudi, South Jakarta. It was noted that four places of business were damaged so that several residents' belongings were lost.

"The four places of business were also damaged, because we can see demographically at the location where this incident occurred, many residents' houses are also used as places of business," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Ahmad Akbar to reporters, Wednesday, July 21. .

Local residents also reported the loss of valuables after the brawl. From cell phones to lost merchandise.

"Then there was one resident who lost things in his house, such as a cellphone. This happened during a brawl, including the loss of grocery merchandise," he explained.

Not only that, the brawl also resulted in injuries. One person had a stab wound.

"From our data collection, yes, there is one person who suffered a sharp weapon wound," said Kompol Akbar.

Previously, the police arrested 15 people who were involved in a brawl at the Manggis Market, Setiabudi, South Jakarta. However, only 13 people have been named as suspects.

"Of the 15 people, we have identified 13 as suspects, the other 2 are being investigated," said the South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Azis Andriansyah, to reporters, Wednesday, July 21.

In fact, from development, the team in the field is still hunting for several other brawlers. They are officially wanted by the police.

"Then it developed that 4 other suspects were being chased because at night there was no one and the team was chasing the four people and we published a list of wanted people," said Azis

For their actions, dozens of suspects were charged with multiple articles. Starting from Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding beatings, Article 406 of the Criminal Code on vandalism, to 358 of the Criminal Code regarding brawls.
