Commemorating Eid, President Jokowi Talks About The Pandemic: This Is A Tough And Real Test

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo wished you a Happy Eid Al-Fitr 1442 H through a poster uploaded to his personal social media account, Tuesday, July 20.

In a post on his Instagram account, Jokowi said that the COVID-19 pandemic, which had hit Indonesia for more than a year, was a tough test.

"The COVID-19 pandemic is a real and real test," he wrote.

However, the former governor of DKI Jakarta believes that the Indonesian people can pass this tough test with sacrifice, togetherness, and earnest effort.

"We can get through it with sacrifice, togetherness, and earnest effort," said Jokowi.

President Jokowi prayed that Allah SWT would provide protection and mercy for the Indonesian people.

May Allah SWT always protect the Indonesian people from all harm, and bestow us with His graces and gifts," he hoped.
