Police Start To Explore Cases Of Alleged Jerinx SID Threats

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has begun to examine the file reporting the alleged threat of violence with the reported person I Gede Ari Astina or better known as Jerinx SID.

Nora Alexandra's husband was reported to Polda Metro Jaya on suspicion of threats and violence.

"Yes, so the report was submitted yesterday on the 10th, currently it is still being investigated because this is about acts accompanied by threats of violence," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters, Tuesday, July 13.

Yusri said that it was Adam Deni who reported Jerinx SID. He felt threatened by Jerinx because he was accused of being the cause of the disappearance of his Instagram account.

"Initially, this reporter often commented on the reported account at jrxsid. Then he didn't know why the reported person contacted the victim by phone. Then, according to the victim, he was threatened with inappropriate words," said Yusri.

Later, Yusri continued, the investigation team will determine whether there is a criminal violation in this report. If there is, then, the status will be upgraded to investigation.

"We will examine the file first, the report. Whether it fulfills the elements in the article or not, we will see. At this time we are still investigating. If we meet the new elements, we will raise it to the level of investigation," said Yusri.

This case began when Adam was considered the cause of the disappearance of Jerinx's Instagram account. Initially, Adam wrote a comment on the account.

He questioned the data regarding artists who were endorsed by COVID-19 to Jerinx. This is because the SID drummer often mentions that many artists have announced that they have contracted COVID-19 because they have been endorsed.

Several times Jerinx replied to Adam's comment. But shortly thereafter, his Instagram account disappeared, on July 2nd. Until finally, Jerinx contacted Adam and accused him of the cause of it all.

"Suddenly he (Jerinx) called me, cursed at me and accused me that I deleted his account," said Adam when confirmed, Sunday, July 11.

Not accepting the threats and insults, Adam and his team of lawyers agreed to take the matter to court. Jerinx was also reported to the Polda Metro Jaya, on Saturday, July 10.

Although Jerinx is said to have apologized and said his actions were carried away by emotions because his Instagram account was lost, Adam would still continue the case.

"If I have opened the report, I will not open the door to peace and withdraw the report for any reason. Go ahead and continue to follow the existing procedures," said Adam.

Thus, with the report, Jerinx is suspected of violating Article 335 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 29 in conjunction with Article 45B of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2016 amendments to Law of Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE
