Remembering The Departure Of The Head Of Baznas DKI, Anies: He Helped Ease The Burden Of Many People

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan recalled the departure of the Chairman of the Jakarta Baznas-Bazis, KH. Luthfi Fathullah who died at Pasar Minggu Hospital, South Jakarta.

In his memory, KH Luthfi in the eyes of Anies was a good leader of the zakat agency and made a breakthrough to ease the burden of many people in Jakarta.

"Since 2019, KH. Luthfi has held the mandate as Chair of the DKI Jakarta Basnas-Bazis, who in his leadership has made many breakthroughs, and spread extraordinary benefits to the poor and orphans in Jakarta. During the pandemic he was extraordinarily active in helping to alleviate burden of so many people," said Anies on his Instagram account, quoted Monday, July 12.

Anies said, KH. Lutfi is a hadith expert who has broad insight. This grandson of Guru Mugni, according to Anies, has very deep knowledge and understands the field of technology.

"KH. Luthfi is also innovative, he makes various applications to support religious learning and for worship activities. KH. Luthfi is also the Director of the Jakarta Hadith Study Center. An ustadz, preacher who is very pious, very energetic and dynamic," he said.

It is known, KH Luthfi passed away on Sunday, 18.22 WIB at 18.22 WIB after battling the COVID-19 infection in the hospital after several days.

This sad news was also conveyed by Ustaz Yusuf Mansyur. Yusuf Mansyur recalled how KH Lutfi taught the science of hadith.

"Innalillahi wainnailaihi rojiun, God willing, he has met Allah and His Apostle as he has always wanted to teach hadith. God willing, if we memorize one hadith, we will hear that we memorize it, God willing, it will make the Messenger of Allah happy," said Yusuf Mansyur quoted on Yusufmansyurnew's Instagram.

Last night, Anies and Yusuf Mansyur held a funeral prayer for the late KH Luthfi at the Pasar Minggu Hospital. After that, the two talked with the deceased's family.
