Police Examine 3 Leaders Of Sari Asih Nusantara Foundation For Embezzlement Of Customer Money

JAKARTA - Deli Serdang Police, North Sumatra conducted an examination of a number of leaders of the Sari Asih Nusantara Foundation on Jalan Bakaran Batu, Tumpatan, related to alleged criminal acts of fraud and embezzlement of customer money.

Kasatreskrim Deli Serdang Police Commissioner M. Firdaus in Deliserdang, Friday, said the investigation was carried out on the head of the foundation, RM, the board of directors, JM, and the treasurer of the foundation, MK.

"The investigation is to complete the case files for alleged fraud and embezzlement of hundreds of customers," said Firdaus as quoted by Antara, Saturday, July 10.

He explained that the examination of the three people was carried out separately, where the examination of RM was carried out on Tuesday, July 6.

"RM was examined for seven hours, from 10.04 western Indonesia time to 17.00 western Indonesia time. A total of 33 questions were asked," he said.

Examination of the board of trustees and the treasurer of the foundation was conducted on Thursday, July 8th.

Previously, the police conducted an investigation related to the alleged criminal act of fraud and embezzlement of the Sari Asih Nusantara Foundation, following a demonstration by hundreds of customers demanding their money be returned.
