Health Workers And Logistics Vehicles Don't Need To Panic, Polda Metro Has Prepared A Special Anti-Congestion Line

JAKARTA - The police provide special lanes for health workers (nakes) and logistics vehicles at the isolation points. The route is intended so that they are not hampered when there is a traffic jam at the sealing point.

"For the medical doctors and nurses, we provide a special priority route so that our brothers and sisters who are medical doctors and nurses can quickly get to the hospital. We have made a special route," said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran to reporters, Wednesday, 7 July.

The special lane is a road segment that is divided into several sections. Health workers are on the far right.

Meanwhile, the community is divided into two. The left is for motorcycles and the middle is for cars. And even then only workers who enter the essential and critical sectors.

Similarly, special lanes are also provided for logistics transport vehicles. One example is in the Kalideres area, West Jakarta.

The TransJakarta line is temporarily designated for logistics transport vehicles. So, you don't get stuck in a traffic jam.

"Similarly with the logistics route, logistics transportation was also smooth from Daan Mogot. Friends, you can see that our busway route is designated as a logistics route. This is roughly an improvement," he said.

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya opened a special exit for health workers on toll roads. This new scheme was created because health workers often get stuck at the isolation points.

"Based on the results of the evaluation for 3 days, there are often priorities for health workers and nurses because they are often hampered, so we will open the exit," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters, Tuesday, July 6.

The special exit for health workers is in the Semanggi area, South Jakarta. In the previous scheme, all vehicles on the toll road must exit at the Slipi and Cawang toll gates.

"For example, from Cawang, it's in Semanggi here (exit), later we will put a sign there that before the exit for health workers, doctors and nurses, please go out at the Semanggi door," said Yusri.

"(The toll road) is also the same way, it is at the Semanggi exit but specifically for health workers," he continued.

The exit scheme for health workers will take effect on Wednesday, July 7th.
