TNI Prepares 650 Beds In Field Hospital For COVID-19 Patients

JAKARTA - The Indonesian National Army (TNI) has prepared 650 beds in several field hospitals (rumkitlap) for COVID-19 patients being treated.

TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto together with the Head of BNPB Lt. Gen. Ganip Warsito directly inspected the readiness of the Field Hospital (Rumkitlap) of the 1st Health Battalion (Yonkes-1) Marines at Kesatrian Hartono Brigif-1 Marine, Cilandak, South Jakarta. This field hospital is for isolation facilities for asymptomatic people (OTG).

The TNI Commander during a dialogue with the Deputy KSAL Admiral TNI Ahmadi Heri Purwono, said that if there were problems or obstacles faced, especially hospital tents, they could be submitted directly to the Head of BNPB.

"If it's really necessary, just ask for assistance here, BNPB has a tent like this. Later, it's just an inventory. It means that the TNI AL Rumkitlap in Cilandak and the Dolos Kwini Building can accommodate 400 people," said the TNI Commander, quoted by Antra, Tuesday, July 6th.

Currently, the Indonesian Navy Marines already have a COVID-19 isolation building at Lanmar Jakarta, the Dolos Building with a capacity of 300 beds, including 8 negative pressure rooms (hepafilter) with 25 health workers and the Brigif-1 Marine Field Hospital with a capacity of 100 beds with 25 health workers. .

Meanwhile, the Kapuskes TNI Maj. Gen. TNI Task Ratmono said that in addition to the 400 beds in the Marine Corps 1 Yonkes Rumkitlap and the Dolos Lanmar Building in Jakarta, the TNI also prepared 150 beds in the Yonkes 1/Kostrad and 100 beds in the Air Force Yonkes. Thus, a total of 650 beds were prepared.

Meanwhile, Marine First Lieutenant (K) Bimo as the doctor on duty at the 1st Marine Health Unit Rumkitlap said that the field hospital organized by the 1st Marine Health Battalion consisted of male and female treatment rooms, each with a capacity of 20 people and 1 intensive care room. care unit (ICU) which can be operated at any time.
