JAKARTA - The late Rachmawati Soekarnoputri passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021. The daughter of the Proclaimer of the Republic of Indonesia Soekarno died after previously being exposed to COVID-19. According to information received by VOI, the deceased will be buried at the TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta this afternoon.

"The body of the late Mrs. Rachmawati Soekarnoputri will be buried at the Karet Bivak TPU, Central Jakarta. The location is right next to the tomb of her beloved mother, Mrs. Fatmawati, who already resided there," said Nanda Persada, as a close friend of Didi Mahardika, the biological son of the late met at Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Saturday, July 3, as broadcast live by the Youtube page, Eradoid.

According to Nanda, he, as a close friend of Didi Mahardika, was greatly missed by the departure of Rachmawati Soekarnoputri. "As a close friend of Didi, I miss Mrs. Rachmawati very much. Because she is like her own mother. When we come to our house, we are invited to chat, joke and eat together," recalls Nanda, who is also a lawyer.

According to Nanda, before she died, Rachmawati had indeed been exposed to COVID-19 and was being treated intensively at the ICU of the Gator Soebroto Army Hospital. Until last night he was still accompanying Didi Ramaardika in the room not far from the place where the deceased was being treated. "He is being treated in the ICU of the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, his family and children continue to accompany and pray for him. Last night Didi did not stop praying for him, it turned out to be the last moment with him," said Nanda Persada.

An unforgettable memory of Nanda is Rachmawati's hospitality and care. "He was very friendly to us - we are Didi's friends who often come to the house. He also has a very high concern, looks after all of us. Even so, his firm attitude is still visible," recalls Nanda.

And one thing that Rachmawati Soekarnoputri has always said, said Nanda Persada, is that she often motivates and still thinks about this nation and country. "He always motivates us to always be enthusiastic no matter what the current situation is. And what he always brings up is about the condition of this nation which continues to decline, many of its people are still below the poverty line and so on.
