Bobby Nasution: Vaccination Reaches 605,280 Residents Of 1.3 Million People

MEDAN - Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution, said that the mass vaccination program carried out reached 605,280 people out of 1.3 million people as targets for the 431st Anniversary of Medan City.

"Thank God, thanks to our collaboration, vaccination has reached 46.56 percent. We will continue to carry out mass vaccinations, so that herd immunity is formed in Medan City," Bobby said in Medan, Wednesday, June 30.

This presentation was delivered by the Mayor of Medan when attending a special plenary session of the Medan City DPRD in commemoration of the 431st Anniversary of Medan City at the Medan City DPRD Building.

This massive measure of mass vaccination, explained Bobby, the Medan City Government, and the North Sumatran Police held a vaccination in the context of the 75th anniversary of Bhayangkara at the Terminal Bandar Deli Pelindo I Belawan, Saturday, June 26, there were 10,000 residents participating in the activity.

In addition to this, Bobby continued, the Medan City Government is currently tightening the implementation of micro-scale community activity restrictions (PPKM) to suppress the spread of COVID-19.

Efforts were made by issuing the Medan Mayor's Circular No. 440/5352 concerning Micro PPKM and Optimizing the COVID-19 Handling Post at the Village Level to Control the Spread of Covid-19 in Medan City.

"In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and followed by isolation in each border area of Medan City. We also carry out 'tracing' for exposed residents, and seek the availability of a 'bad occupancy rate (BOR)' in each hospital, "said Mayor Bobby Nasution.
