JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Ida Fauziyah continues to encourage consolidation and coordination between agencies and institutions that manage manpower for the implementation of One Employment Data.

The Minister of Manpower Ida said that the ratification of the One Manpower Data policy did not mean that the task had been completed. There are still challenges and problems in the provision and presentation of employment data.

"Therefore, coordination and cooperation between labor agencies from the central to provincial and district/city levels is absolutely necessary," said Ida at the National Consolidation of One Manpower Data, monitored from Jakarta, Wednesday 30 June.

One Employment Data is the implementation of the employment sector of Presidential Regulation Number 39 of 2019 concerning One Indonesian Data which aims to reform government data governance.

The policy was inaugurated on September 7, 2020 when the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah signed the Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 15 of 2020 concerning One Employment Data. The issuance of the regulation marks the start of the implementation of the One Data Policy in the employment sector.

"The reform of labor data governance through the One Employment Data policy is fundamental in determining the success of employment development," said Ida.

On the same occasion, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower Anwar Sanusi emphasized that consolidation for One Employment Data was needed, because the labor sector has various issues that are shared by many stakeholders.

Anwar took as an example the issue of employment social security which involves many parties, such as the Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Finance, BPJS Employment and the employer. "That's why we want that with this one data, we can really speed up these issues, improve our performance, be more effective and efficient and accountable," said Anwar.

As Manager Ida Fauziyah said, even though the One Employment Data has been ratified, it does not mean that the task has been completed.
